The Smithsonian Institute, National Museum of American History Warner Brothers Auditorium
When the Smithsonian Institute begun renovation of the Carmichael Auditorium, being renamed the Warner Brothers Auditorium, RCI Systems was contracted to transform the audiovisual and film portions into a state of the art facility. The entire auditorium was gutted and completed rebuilt from the shell up. The technology RCI was responsible for included Studio Grade Film Projection, 3D Digital Cinema, and Presentation Systems. A new 32’ wide screen was installed for the film and digital cinema, and another 15’ wide screen is installed for presentations.Read More
Ritz Carlton, Tyson’s Corner
RCI Systems recently completed renovations to the main ballroom audiovisual system and digital display systems for the Marriott owned Ritz Carlton Tyson’s Corner, VA. The scope of work included a new AMX touch screen control system, a Biamp modular DSP processing system, new amplifiers and expansion of the multi-zone speaker system. The digital display system included a digital signage software system tied into the Ritz Carlton Adelphi scheduling system, large LCD screens in lobbies, and door side displays for showing the daily events within the ballrooms and meeting rooms.Read More
Cramton Auditorium Upgrades to l’Acoustics KUDO Speakers
Washington, D.C.–For just over 50 years, Cramton Auditorium on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. has welcomed world leaders, key political figures and countless entertainers to its renowned stage. As part of an extensive renovation project celebrating its gold anniversary, the university recently updated the 1,500-seat venue’s audio facilities with the addition of a full L-Acoustics KUDO system.

Folger Shakespeare Library Theatre
Challenge:
When one thinks of the treasures of the Folger Shakespeare Library, books, manuscripts and artwork immediately come to mind. But for many, the library’s national landmark building—designed by Paul Philippe Cret (1876–1945) who also designed the Pan American Union in Washington and the Detroit Institute of Arts—is a high point.
Located in a historic building, the theatre department wished to upgrade the sound system adding surround sound capabilities, new speakers, and a digital console.
