Franciscian Monastery Installs AV in Conference Center and Visitors Center
The Franciscan Monastery in Washington DC recently retained RCI Systems to design and install the new AV system for the conference center and adjoining visitors’ center. The conference center system was based around an AMX Enova system with touch panels located in the main equipment rack and the custom podium. First Baptist Church Of The City Of Washington D.C.
Recently First Baptist Church of the City of Washington D.C. upgraded their sound system and retained RCI System to design and install the system. The main goal was to install a system that will serve the congregation well into the future. After discussions with the client, it was determined that fiber would serve them well into the future. This was also important because of the potential ground loop issues since the electrical service would not be upgraded. Woodstream Church, Mitchellville, MD chooses l’Acoustics
Woodstream Church located in Mitchellville, MD recently upgraded the Sanctuary sound system with an L-Acoustics system provided by RCI systems of Beltsville MD. Upon retaining RCI Systems to design a system for the Sanctuary, Bob Capotosto met with the audio staff to establish the goals and objectives of the new system. It was determined that the existing system while loud, did not adequately cover the sanctuary seating and did not provide the necessary clarity required for the services and various events.Read More
Columbia Presbyterian Church
RCI Systems was contracted to design and install audiovisual systems for the 2011 renovation. The scope of work included the main Multipurpose Room and lobbies, the Community room, and several classrooms. The technology included audio systems, video systems and distributed A/V systems.
One of the main challenges of the Multipurpose Room is that the church uses it as a full-fledged gymnasium when not dedicated to services. Attention had to be paid to protecting equipment while still providing high quality audio and video capabilities.Read More

The First Baptist Church of Glenarden Worship Center sits on 150 acres in the Largo area of Maryland. This is the second facility for the church with the main Sanctuary seating for over 4000. In addition, there are 48 classrooms, 3 Multipurpose Rooms, a complete television production center, and a DVD duplication center.Read More
