Franciscian Monastery Installs AV in Conference Center and Visitors Center
The Franciscan Monastery in Washington DC recently retained RCI Systems to design and install the new AV system for the conference center and adjoining visitors’ center. The Conference Center Installation was based around an AMX Enova system with touch panels located in the main equipment rack and the custom podium. All audio, screen, projection and control are accessible from each touch panel. Computer inputs are also available at the podium for presentation purposes.
The visitors’ center provides the visitors with an immersive HD video experience created by AV Concepts, taking them on a journey through the Holy Land, its history and the events leading up to the founding of the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land. The video content is server based and the presentation encompasses the entire wall surface in the main Foyer. This is made possible by four projectors and a 5.1 surround sound system. The entire installation is controlled by the touch of a button for easy staff operation.
