Mayoral Press Conference @ Street Corner
Challenge:
RCI Systems client needed to do a press event with the Mayor of Baltimore in the middle of a street. No electrical power was readily available with the requirement to distribute audio to all major TV and radio stations along with a live audience of 50. To minimize street closing time, the system needed to be set and struck as quickly as possible.
RCI solution:
Using wireless microphones and MiPro battery powered/ wireless speakers, a battery RCI BM30 Pressmult, and an RCI manually-adjustable lectern, the system was tested on the sidewalk and the set-up in less than 5 minutes by one technician. The press and audience got perfect audio, and the audio system was removed from the street faster than the chairs and the cameras.
